Mediamanado.com – The Chief of Badan SAR Nasional Bambang Soelistyo declared that until Friday evening (02/01) there was already 30 corpses of AirAsia QZ8501 victim were removed from Karimata Strait.
“I can confirm there are 30 corpses found already,” said Bambang Soelistyo.
In evacuation process, the corpses were carried by the boats, to be taken into Pangkalan Bun, a town in Central Kalimantan which is the nearest from site search.
Badan SAR Nasional said that bad weather is still the main problem in finding the victims.
There were 155 passengers and 7 crewmen on that plane.
Meanwhile, The focus search is now directed to the seabed to find the body of the plane and flight recorder, which plays an important role to find out the cause of the airplane crash into the sea.
