TOMOHON, MediaManado.com – There was a rainfall in Tomohon City that kept raining from the morning till the evening, Monday (29/12). It made City Government declare a standby toward the possibility of disaster occurrence like January 15th 2014 incident that killed teens of souls in Tinoor.
The Tomohon Mayor Jimmy F Eman SE, Ak through The Head of Badan Penanggulangan Bencana Daerah (BPBD) Drs Robby Kalangi MM said, “Untill this time we keep monitoring the locations which are prone to flood and landslide including Tomohoan roads – In Tinoor Village we sent Tim Reaksi Cepat (TRC) to keep on standby in the locations which are prone to flood and landslide.”
Therefore, Kaban BPBD said, “To everyone on road should be careful and be aware, especially to the rain and wind, so citizens can be avoided from the things we don’t want to happen, as well as to the citizens which stay at the locations that are prone to flood and landslide must be aware with the weather, because it’s better to be warned before, considering to the nature condition such as now.”
Whilealso monitored there were landslides in some points of roads, and also everyone on the road must be aware of the fallen trees, because a thing like this often happens especially with the extreme weather like nowadays that is happening in Tomohon City and the surrounding of it.
